Reschedule the session if anyone who is to be photographed is running a fever, (even low-grade) or has been around anyone who has been very sick within the last 14 days. Take the temperature of everyone participating in the session on the morning of the session.

COMMON QUESTIONS:

"What happens if I, or someone else in my family, get sick leading up to our photo session?"

I will generally touch base with you a few days leading up to your session to check-in. Not only to see if everyone is healthy, but also for possible weather issues and to see if you have any questions. At this time you can let me know if someone is sick and we can figure out if we should reschedule or not. I want everyone to feel as well as they can be at the session, so I will do my best to work with your schedule to find a better time for all of us if we do need to reschedule.

"What happens if we wake up the day of our photoshoot and someone has a fever?"

You can either email, call, or text me and we will find a time to reschedule. Fevers are when we are most contagious and I do not want to risk anyone's health just for photos. I am flexible and I will work with you to find another time.

"What if you are sick?"

If I am sick but do not have a fever, I will let you know ASAP so you can decide what you want to do. I do not mind wearing a mask even if we are outdoors just to be safe, so don't feel bad requesting that from me! If I am sick and am not feeling well enough to do the photoshoot, I will reach out and let you know ASAP so we can reschedule. The same goes for if I have a fever.

"Will I lose my session fee?"

No. You will not lose your session fee if someone is sick. That is out of our control and I'm a mom so I understand that this happens sometimes! I will work with your schedule to find a day and time that works for both of us to get you your family photos. Can I guarantee it's the ideal time for you? No, it all depends on how many sessions I have scheduled, but I will do my best to accommodate you!
